Members of Parliament Book

Labiba Haque and I collaborated on the design of Black British Members of Parliament in the House of Commons: 22 Stories of Passion, Achievement and Success by author and client Shirley Anstis. As the designers on this project, we were commissioned to create 3 deliverables: a printed book cover, an eBook, and print-ready files for the physical edition.

The book aims to educate and inspire readers by highlighting the journeys of Black British MPs. It offers powerful examples of career paths and role models within UK politics. Our design process was guided by this purpose, ensuring the visual identity reflected the book’s message of empowerment and achievement. Discover the full design journey here.
